"...Animals are not the only ones that are treated fantastically in Merazonia. The staff are also wonderful to the volunteers. They are always eager to help and answer our questions. The working hours are very reasonable and manageable, giving adequate breaks in between shifts. On Lazy Sundays and Thursday activity days, the staff does a great job in organising fun activities. Great enrichment for the volunteers!"

"Where to begin!? So many aspects of life at Merazonia contributed to a fantastic experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and falling asleep to the sounds of the river every night was a treat. Everyone was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Every day of work was rewarding and I felt trusted and valued as a part of the team from day one. If I had to pick one [I liked best], perhaps the best thing about Merazonia is that the animals are treated with the utmost respect, and given the closest thing possible to life in the wild. I’m very grateful to have spent time at a centre where everything is done, and decisions are always made, in the best interest of the animals."
